Herat University Medical Students’ Association (HUMSA), in collaboration with the Cultural and Student Services Committee of the Herat Faculty of Medicine, organized an ECG Interpretation Competition with the aim of enhancing the scientific capacity of students.
This scientific competition was held on Sunday, 18 Aqrab, among students of the 7th, 9th, and 11th semesters of the Herat Faculty of Medicine. In this academic event, dozens of students actively participated and demonstrated their theoretical and practical skills in electrocardiogram (ECG) interpretation.
The scoring and evaluation process was conducted transparently under the direct supervision of the respected professors of the Department of General Internal Medicine. As a result, four students were recognized as the top performers of the competition and were awarded prizes by the Cultural Committee:
First Place:

🏅 Amir Mirzaie – 9th Semester
Second Place:
🏅 Sayed Mujib Sadat – 9th Semester
🏅 Alireza Wafa – 7th Semester
Herat University Medical Students’ Association (HUMSA) and the Cultural Committee congratulate the outstanding students and appreciate their efforts toward strengthening their scientific skills.
It is worth mentioning that due to the commencement of the autumn semester final examinations, the prizes are scheduled to be awarded to the winners at the beginning of the spring semester during a special ceremony.
