In collaboration with the Herat University Medical Students’ Association (HUMSA), Herat Faculty of Medicine at Herat University hosted an academic-research seminar entitled “KAP Surveys” Held in the faculty’s main conference hall on Monday, 6 October 2025, the seminar was presented by Dr. Mohammad Masudi and brought together faculty members and students for an engaging scholarly exchange.


Dr. Masoudi delivered a comprehensive lecture on Knowledge, Attitude, and Practice (KAP) surveys, emphasizing their critical role in medical and public health research. The seminar fostered active participation, with students’ questions addressed thoroughly and discussions highlighting the relevance of KAP surveys in both academic and clinical contexts.
Following the presentation, Dr. Mohammadullah Yaqubi, Head of the Cultural and Student Services Committee, expressed gratitude to the faculty members and students for their presence. He underscored the importance of continuing such initiatives, noting that collaboration between faculty and student associations like HUMSA enriches the academic environment and strengthens the culture of research.


The aim of these seminars is to elevate the scientific and research capacity of students, while equipping them with practical skills that are vital in academic and clinical settings. HUMSA remains firmly committed to providing and supporting such academic seminars, ensuring that students benefit from opportunities to expand their knowledge, sharpen their research skills, and engage in meaningful scholarly dialogue.
